Hi all, it’s been a while. Life takes over and before you know many months have passed. Anyways, this past June we went on our annual camping trip to the Cariboo and a good time was had by all. I guess some pictures are in order. At the end of the Cariboo blogs another of my mind numbing videos will be included to help with your sleep. As always, Savor!
Seymour Mountain Saturday spring hikes are almost back, and to get things started my friend and I went for a snowshoe up to Goldie Lake on Sunday. The weather was outstanding! Hadn’t done this in years but after this jaunt I hope to do it many more times in the future. Savor!
Snow is not a frequent occurrence here on British Columbia’s West Coast. I recently took my weekly Friday Ghetto Walk on a snowy day. It’s amazing how a little bit of the white stuff can transform what you normally take for granted as drab, into something most alluring. Savor!

Hi all. Again it’s been awhile. Summer was busy, then we were away for a couple of weeks at the end, then right back to work again. I’m hoping to post several blogs over the next while as I’m finally catching up with everything.
Back in June I visited Cortes Island. Unfortunately the trip was mostly a washout. I had planned to camp a week, but ended up staying only two nights due to the nonstop monsoon that started my second evening (and wasn’t going to end according to the weather forecasts). I was disappointed as I had heard this is a beautiful island. I did manage to snap a few pics during my short stay. Savor!
